The hotel was a comfortable place to stay during our short business trip. Although the decor is a bit dated, the staff was welcoming and helpful, making check-in a breeze. The room itself was spacious and quiet, ideal for resting after a long day. Breakfast had a variety of hot and cold options, which was a nice touch after the prior night’s meal experience at the hotel’s function.

The friendly staff made for a pleasant stay, and the pool was a delightful surprise. the dated decor and noisy, non-opening windows detracted from overall comfort. Breakfast choices were repetitive, but the cleanliness was commendable, especially in the rooms.

This place suits me perfectly with its free parking, reliable wi-fi, and friendly 24-hour reception. During my first stay, the staff helped me with taxi tips, which I appreciated. I highly recommend it for a city trip.

I stayed here for four nights and loved how comfy my classic double room was. The daily cleaning left everything fresh. The pool area was a nice touch for relaxing after a busy day, and I enjoyed some good breakfast to start my mornings. Just a heads up, the toast could be better, but overall, I really liked my stay! 👍

I had a decent two-night stay with my family, though the heat in the rooms was quite unbearable. The breakfast was overpriced but decent, and the bar service could be quicker. I'd consider another stay if improvements are made.

i had a great stay at the mercure. the staff were genuinely friendly and went above and beyond to help. my room was spotlessly clean and comfy, and the hotel is in a good location, close to local attractions. the bar was open late which was a plus after a long day. notably, the reception staff were always helpful and knowledgeable, making my experience even better.

Friendly staff, but a bit outdated
The staff were super friendly, which was awesome! Breakfast was a highlight, and they served it up perfectly. the hotel itself needs some serious updating, especially the carpets and decor. Our room was okay but felt a bit worn out. It could use a refresh for sure.

Super friendly staff!
We stayed for 3 nights and the staff were awesome—so helpful! The breakfast had a ton of options, and I loved the self-service part. Our room was comfy, but the stair climb was a bit steep for my suitcase. it’s a solid stay if you're near Norwich! Just wish they marked the entrance better.

I really appreciated the friendly staff and the clean room during my four-night stay, making it a great home base for visiting local parks like Ladybelt Country Park, which is less than a kilometer away, and also exploring the historic areas within the city center that are just a bit further out.

Decent Stay with Room for Improvement
Spent a night in a Classic Twin Room. Clean and comfortable, but lacked power points near the beds. The indoor pool was a nice touch but could use an update. For a better experience, consider dining options nearby, as the hotel facilities were limited.
